”Most hotels are very much the same type of structure rooms and facilities so the difference is made by the staff and this hotel has the staff that make such a great difference from the moment we arrived and greeted by Muriel to the moment we left the staff made us feel appreciated.”

”Me and my friend were here one night before and one night after our trip to target. We did not speak Portuguese, but lovely woman in reseption spoke english and helped us. For example, she helped us to get to the bus station and get tickets to our destination. Thank you Mercure!”

”We needed a room for one night before an early flight. It was fine for that purpose. I wouldn’t stay here if you’re looking for a fancy beach resort. The hotel itself is dated and pool is small for the number of rooms they have. Elevators in the morning had long lines. Had to wait 10 minutes to get to the lobby during the busy time. But the free breakfast was wonderful with many options! Room was spacious and bed was comfortable and clean. Walkable to grocery stores, restaurants and the beach. ”
