”Another member of our group found bedbugs in her room on the couch/sofa and they moved her to another room. Unfortunately this was not communicated to the rest of us in a timely manner by the group member. The parking costs $25 a day on top of the $10 a day resort fee. The resort fee was disclosed prior but the parking cost was an unpleasant surprise. ”Everything about the hotel and the stay was what you would expect at this price point. My objection is that when my husband and I had been asleep for about 45 minutes, our phone started ringing and when I answered it, I was told that there were complaints that we had loud music coming from our room. We’re in our mid 70s and loud music at that time of night is not something that would happen. I believe that a staff member should’ve come up to the room and listened at door to see what room...

”It was a walkable area and I found it was easy to figure out how to use the bus and transit system! A few bars and restaurants near by in a 10 min walking distance down Broadway. Trips into the city of San Francisco was as easy as taking the BART station nearby! Save your money and time and take advantage of the all day pass and public transit in the city ”

”Very clean and new hotel building. Rooms are tight but clean and have fridge and microwave oven. Since located in downtown Oakland it can get quite busy in surroundings, though 11th street is somewhat calm area. My room windows were on the street side and it was pretty noisy during nights. If you wear ear plugs it is no big deal. I stayed 10 nights and my room wasn't cleaned for once. Breakfast is okay. Nothing fancy but you get what you need to start your day. I probably wouldn't stay here...

”Big room, great bed, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Easy to park and move around, close to freeway. Neighborhood felt safe. The only downside was shower water, which was cold, but I'm not sure if the problem was only in our room since we never mentioned it to front desk. Overall great for the price. ”
