”The breakfast could be better.Love the grits our first time seeing it. We stayed at the hotel for 5 days, on 1 of the morning a blond girl served raw grits it was terrible when we had a mouthful of raw grits. I mentioned it to her, she took it to the back and brought it back out and we thought she fixed it,but all she did was stirring it up.Someone went to complain and a manager went to the kitchen , I don't know what happened after that we were done with the grits that day. ”We had a great week on Long Lake. Chet and Lauren have done a lot of work on their property, and it shows. The cabins were very quaint, comfortable and clean, especially the beds. I like that we brought all our own linens and bedding, I feel that is more efficient for both owner and guest. The lake, the use of the resort's aluminum rowboats (we attached our own motor), grills, firepit and outdoor furniture made it a fun, relaxing week and we all agreed we would definitely like to return to...

Cozy, artistic touches, “rustic” in just the right way with the modern conveniences we needed. Had 1-2 bars with Verizon. Enough to do what we needed to do on our phones. Location was great.
