”Beautiful property great location. My major issue was with the air-conditioning. There was none. It was a hot day in Amboise and the room was stifling. I opened the window to cool down but got bit by mosquitoes. I spoke to the front staff who said their heating and cooling were an eco-friendly system that didn’t work well on extreme temperature days. Other than that lovely day.”

”Hotel Au Charm Rabelaisein is a lovely boutique hotel centrally located in Amboise. We were able to walk everywhere. The room was spacious and comfortable with a view of the Amboise Castle from our window. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet each day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The town of Amboise is special and our accommodation here made us feel right at home. We would definitely recommend this as a top place to stay in the Loire Valley.”

”we are in our 80's, the bathroom is in need of handicapped rails especially how high the tub sides are. The temperature while we were there was in the 60's. the room had no heat. It was quite uncomforatable at times. dinner was very good but having the same menu several days in a row was disapointing. Overall the stay was enjoyable”

”This is an amazing place! Very peaceful and serene. Quiet rooms. Comfy beds. Lovely outdoor seating. Easy walk to town. The owners are so personable and helpful. Fun and easy to meet the other guests. Breakfast was served in a bright and sunny room with lots of selection variety. The rooms are large. I would highly recommend - and would love to return for a much longer stay!”
