”The staff were friendly and the motel had a real small town feeling. It is a little bit old but you can tell they are working on improvement. A great location to stay to see this side of Nova Scotia.”

”The rooms smelled terrible...musty/damp smell. Even with the windows open all night the smell was still terrible. Our friends room had the same awful smell. The property has not been updated, furniture was old, very poor lighting and moldy shower curtain. The beds however, were comfortable in our room. The property would have been adequate for an emergency stop but because of the smell, I would not recommend it.”

The house is a beautifully renovated period home with large spacious bedrooms and private bathrooms. We were impressed with the attention to detail and the cleanliness. Kevin loves Nova Scotia and gave us many great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to visit.”

”Our hosts, Shirley and Jack, are delightful people and have done an over the top job with their vacation rental! The unit is beautifully appointed for a sweet and homey feel and is equipped with every convenience you could want (including laundry machines)! The ocean view from the bedroom windows is gorgeous and the king sized bed was a dream to crawl into at night. Margaretsville is an easy 40 minute drive from Annapolis Royal and is a charming small village where we enjoyed one whole day just...
