”The hotel has a $20 early check-in amount - that we paid - even though our room was ready. That seemed a little unnecessary to us - especially as we checked out early (and didn't receive compensation for that LOL).”

”The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor”

”Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked. ”Our second stay here and will do it again if opportunity arises! A cozy little cottage with a surprising amount of amenities. Even fresh eggs from their hens. So relaxing and peaceful watching the fishing boats from the rocking chairs on the front porch. ”

”Beautiful home in a beautiful area. We really did enjoy our stay! Hosts were very easy to communicate with. Attentive, kind, and understanding. Would reccomend this spot to other people and would definitely stay again! ”

”Everything about this place is so amazing and welcoming. From the drive there to first stepping into the dome, to seeing all of the personal touches all throughout. We loved star gazing outside and through the top of the dome from the loft. The bed was cozy and the communication with the host was quick and so very helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough!”

”Although I was getting a little nervous about finding the location (it’s off the beaten path and we were driving in a downpour) it was worth the trek. After travelling all over the Maritimes, arriving at the cabin was such a wonderful surprise. It was so clean and well set up. So many thoughtful touches and just a wonderful space to unwind. And the views were stunning- what a location!”
