”Property surrounding house is lovely. We were drawn to the pet friendly aspect and the B&B atmosphere. House itself is smaller than it looks in photo. Everything was clean but interior looks tired. Our bathroom in Magnolia Room had peeling paint and tub didn't hold water. Continental breakfast was adequate but compared to breakfasts at other B&Bs, it was unremarkable. B&B located close to downtown and within easy drive to Appomattox Courthouse National Park.”

”Breakfast was amazing and the inn is lovingly cared for. Bed was super comfy. Next time we hope to be there when they served dinner.”

”Beautiful scenery great place to relax and and unwind. The property owner is extremely nice and accommodating. We plan on going back again”

”A serene spot inside and out. Renee was super kind and considerate. If you’re looking for a retreat there’s no better place. The lake access also a wonderful amenity.”

”This is one of the best places we have stayed using Vrbo. It’s clean, has a welcoming host, and is in a beautiful area.”

”This is such a unique and beautiful property! You will enjoy the majestic views with your morning coffee.! The sunsets are spectacular! Close to Lynchburg, Bedford, historic sites in Appomattox and lots of great hikes! Perfect for an event or wedding as well! We just stayed for graduation weekend but now we know of a beautiful event location for the future! Beds are so comfortable! Kitchen well equipped! Host is so responsive and kind! 10/10 recommend!”

”Check in was easy. Owner was very nice and friendly. I had a traffic accident while in town. Owner was very helpful. All in all, a very pleasant experience. ”

”Felt like our home away from home. Hosts responded quickly. Clean and comfortable beds. Plenty of room for the 8 adults in our group. ”

”“We stayed in a charming old farmhouse that had all the cozy character you hope for, but was also incredibly clean and well cared for. The beds were exceptionally comfortable — honestly some of the best sleep we’ve had away from home. Everything was spotless from the bedrooms to the bathrooms, and the peaceful farmhouse atmosphere made the stay even more relaxing. Would absolutely stay again.””

”The property was beautiful. Plenty of room for everyone plus more… The entire family enjoyed the pool. I can’t say enough about how great it was. Bill was also great and kind. We would definitely go back! The location was perfect also. Not far from town!”

”Bingham House was a beautifully decorated and renovated historic home! The beds and linens were so comfortable, front porch so peaceful to sit on each morning, and kitchen well equipped for cooking a yummy breakfast each day. I especially enjoyed walking the neighborhood each morning and checked out the local bookstore and coffee shop! The hosts were easy to communicate with and welcoming. Arrival was easy and smooth. Fun games and books to enjoy are provided as well. Comfy living area, couches...
