”When we arrived the welcoming (and the troughout service of the reception) was very cold. We had a seaview room that we later upgraded to a suite. The suite felt much more comfortable and was very spacious. In the first room the bed was tiny and in both rooms the beds were broken, sunken in the middle, old and worn out. The tv remote didn't work, most of the bowls at the breakfast were chippend and overall the rooms were a bit tired. We would choose another hotel next time. However, the location...

”The rooms were lovely and the staff was fabulous, the valets especially went out of their way to help us. We adored the family room with the bunk beds, such a great idea for families traveling with young children so we could all be together but have designated space for everyone to sleep. We also loved the pool and waterside, kids couldn't get enough! We highly recommend this hotel while visiting Loch Lomond!”

”Sarah is the heart of Roseneath Guest House, warm, friendly, helpful, funny and blessed with wonderful stories.
For a non-driver with a heavy luggage the climb up the hill can be a challenge, but since you reach The Roseneath, Bill helps carrying your luggage up to your room.
I also like a log in the "Blue Teddybear"-room and enjoyed a delicious and hearty cooked breakfast (awesome black pudding!) seasoned with Sarah's wonderful stories.

”The hotel review rating is overrated in my opinion. The hallway to our room smelled aweful. The carpet in the room was stained a lot and seemed not been vacuumed. There were dark hair on the bedding and pillow. The restroom had many dark spots between the tiles especially at the shower. Everything seemed outdated. The parking infront of the entrance was good though. The breakfast was not good at all either. Food tasted bland and bacon was cold. Nothing fresh of vegetables or fruits. ”
