”The room was cozy, the outdoor Onsen was fantastic. We love the privacy and the Mountain View. The staff was well trained and extremely helpful, especially the food servers. We enjoyed every moment of our two night stay. One issue that can be improved is the lack of a shuttle service for the guests. The Ryokan is on a rather steep slope and dragging our luggage back and forth was a real choir. Difficult to get a taxi from the Ryokan and the shuttle bus was not readily available. The...

”Great guesthouse with helpful staff. Small Onsen was great but water very hot. Cold water and hot water and tea and coffee provided. Close to a bus stop. Lovely spot to stay. Can walk to Hakone Open Air Museum-16 minutes on a track.I had the double room - used the 2 futons so it was very comfortable on the tatami mat.”

”The stay at Couscous was absolutely spot on! Beautiful glamping resort in the quiet town of Manazuru. It has good connection links to the main station if odawara. Perfect for exploring the Hakone region of Japan. The tents were very well equipt with fans, heating, usb's. Outside there was incredible decking areas with BBQs, and a large table and chairs. The site itself was extremely clean and the toilet and shower areas were always spotless and very modern. Overall I would 100% recommend this...
