”Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy. The lobby/breakfast area was cold during our stay when it was very cold outside. The staff was very friendly Thank you Jay .”

”This is a unique property. The house is beautiful, but it was a little difficult to tell what exactly we were getting from the listing. We wound up with a room with an en-suite bathroom, which I would definitely recommend, otherwise you may be sharing a bathroom with complete strangers. We stayed here as part of RAGBRAI, so it was completely full and folks were definitely having to share a bathroom and coordinate showers. Not a huge deal, but we were happy to have our room with the bathroom. All...

”Enjoyed our stay. Clean, quiet and our stay was perfect. If we are in the area in the future, will book again.”

”Helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Easy location with plenty of parking.”

”Family reunion with young adults with kids and grandparents. Very enjoyable stay. We enjoyed the lake (kayaking & fishing) as ell as the fire pit. The bedrooms were set up well for our group.”

”We spent 3 nights here while attending our daughter's wedding and had a fantastic stay. We packed for the stay but could have easily came with much less for how well stocked the home was. Everything was clean and well cared for, the neighborhood was pleasant, the beds were very comfortable. Home is set back off the road with a super cute private backyard area where we watched fireflies and roasted smores. Many businesses within a mile to cover all our needs. Easy check in and check out, very...

”We had a perfect stay at The Rookery Cottage! Such a cute and quaint cottage. It had everything we needed and was a very relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were so friendly and hospitable. We will definitely be back!”

”It was a very nice getaway and remote and really a chance to reset and enjoy nature.”

”Our family has rented this home three times over the last year thanks to its wonderfully welcoming atmosphere and comfortable amenities. This particular trip found us in the middle of a winter storm. The maintenance crew was prompt in coming to snow blow the driveway and all walkways, making sure everyone in the party stayed safe. Thank you again, Chestnut Hill! We will be back! ”
