”The Loans Inn is a beautiful destination. A “resort”-style establishment within a village setting. The Loans is offers nice - clean - well-appointed hotel rooms, plus a nice restaurant and pub. Live entertainment - courteous staff. The local town is wonderfully social and friendly (within a mile of Royal Troon Golf Course - one of the British Open courses) and still farms very nearby.”

”I was not happy at the first time but at least I was a wee happy when my room was changed to what it should be I paid for family room because I was with my two boy and my wife but you people gave gave me a double bed saying that my room was changed from the head office and also changed back to my family room I did not understand that story but is fine am ok at least but not at the beginning ”

”The room was very hot. There was only a thick duvet on the bed, so if you’re like me (I need to be covered when I sleep) it was extremely uncomfortable. Also, no fans provided to cool down the room. A second issue were the toilets. In order to fully flush the toilet (which is required when travelling) you had to pull the handle past 45 degrees with quite a bit of pressure. Both my husband and I thought we were going to break the toilet. No instructions were given. We have travelled extensively...

”We have stayed here before and it is a good practical option for us when we visit family. It is clean modern and nice and warm. We have stayed twice before in different rooms, both of which were bigger than the one we had this time. It would really have been more suitable for a single guest. That being said, we did manage ok for 2 nights. We did notice the noise from other guests a bit more this time than we did before. The location is ideal as there are shops, bars and decent restaurants...

”We stayed here while attending a wedding at the nearby Trump Turnberry hotel. The hotel is a short 15-minute drive from Turnberry and right on the coast road with fantastic views. The hotel has an ample car park and spacious rooms. We found the rooms perfect for our 1-night stay. Included in the room rate are various cold breakfast items like cereals, croissaints, ham in the fridge, fruit yougarts, milk for making tea/coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this superb hotel.”
