”Clean room nothing special”

”The breakfast was the exact same both days and was already gone by 8:30am. Egg white were the main egg options along with cold boiled eggs. Coffee was also out, and swimming pool was not too clean. Main staff on shift was extremely nice, No hot tub present. Room was overall clean.”

”We had a wonderful stay at The Victorian Inn! I loved the charm and character of the beautiful old Victorian building. The only issue we had was with check-in. It would have been helpful if the inn had requested our phone number ahead of time or communicated the check-in instructions more clearly through Expedia. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!”

”We stayed here for one night while visiting Mammoth Cave National Park. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the national park visitor center. While the sheets and pillows were clean, the floor needed vacuuming. Breakfast was good.”

”Our room had mold in the bathroom. Our refrigerator had a slight leak to it and first of all around 4:45 AM in the morning we received a wake up call which we did not receive and it woke the entire room up. We have two small children so they cannot go back to sleep after that. The breakfast was terrible. It was just muffins, bagels and toast.”

”Communication was proactive and showed a genuine concern for our comfort during our stay. There was an error in double booking on the property’s end and they made extra accommodations for us and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The owner is a very kind person and reached out on a few occasions to ensure we had everything we needed. The cabin was beautiful, well maintained, and clean, and had great amenities for cooking. ”Crickets in bed rooms. Management told me it was my fault for opening the door! Funny thing is when we first walked in the crickets greeted us . Pool water was dirty. Could not see the bottom. Didn't swim because we weren't sure the water was safe. Will never stay at Hotel Cricket" again.”

”The property itself was as listed, but we spent an hour trying to find it. We had to stop and ask a resident of the area for directions. He said “good luck with that place. They’ve been shut down a few times” He also warned us about copperheads and rattlesnakes. We were never able to contact the host. VRBO offered to find us another place. We ended up staying at a hotel. VRBO said that they will compensate us for the cost ”

”I enjoyed my brief stay at the property. The check in process was unusual. I talked with the property manager via Ring and the place was unlocked. Also, I was initially unsure which room I would occupy. But everything got sorted out. The location is very, very close to the street, but the building, which apparently was constructed in 1810, was so well constructed that any noises from passing traffic could not be heard.
