Hae hotelleja – Bastides Dordogne-Périgord

”A beautiful place to stay, decorated tastefully and not overdone. My room was very attractive and although the mattress was firmer than I am used to I slept well. My view was over the valley but view from rooms facing this old village would also have been attractive. Efficient air conditioning greatly! Although small the garden was well maintained, as was the pool, and very quiet even at a busy weekend. Lovely sound of the water fall in the pool. Due to problems with my flights I arrived around...

”Fantastic boutique hotel, perfect location on the corner of the main square, which is just beautiful. The courtyard with the small pool is ideal for cooling off and has a calm atmosphere and staff were very friendly. My only complaint is the WiFi did not work, which was a big problem when I needed to work.”

”The location is wonderful and so peaceful. The pool is amazing and the salt water treatment makes is very pleasant to be in. The house is extremely well equipped with everything you need to self cater for a few weeks. There are a few nice places to eat and drink in the village and which are a pleasant 15 minute stroll away. The river access is a real bonus and a great place to spend some real wind down time.”

”Great apartment and lovely setting. Clean with everything you would need. The weather was extremely hot which curtailed our activities. The local supermarket had closed. Replaced supermarket and is at other end of town. The owner/ manager of the house kindly took us to the supermarket at the start of our stay. Everyone was friendly”

”This place is is absolutely fantastic. The room, the whole house and the garden were absolutely beautiful. The host was very friendly and helped us with table reservations and planning what to do. The breakfast was also one of the best breakfast that I have have ever got in my trips. ”

”The B&B is right in town. The church across the street provided free parking. We were there during a heat wave and there is no air conditioning but the hosts provided fans which we used at night. But we had to be out during the day with the heat. For breakfast, we were served a croissant each, plain yogurt, a bowl of cut up fruit, two jams, orange juice, coffee or tea and some cut up baguette. Breakfast was served on the back patio overlooking the river. One down side is there is no general room...
