"This was our second stay at this hotel, and unfortunately the level of service had clearly declined. The reception area and overall appearance were excellent, but beyond that, the experience was disappointing.
On both mornings, many breakfast items had run out across several stations. We waited 15–20 minutes for pancakes, but when no new ones appeared, we eventually decided to leave. The “crispy bacon” was anything but crispy.
If the hotel knows it is fully booked, management should ensure that guests do not feel the impact of it.
Housekeeping was not done during our 2-day stay: trash was not emptied, towels were not replaced, and although I did not expect the bed linen to be changed, at the very least the trash should have been taken out. I did not see any housekeeping staff on our floor during the entire stay (Superior room).
The air conditioning was also weak — although admittedly, we should have reported that during our stay as recommended at check-out
Would I recommend this hotel? Unfortunately not, based on this experience.
Value for money: poor.
Location: good.
Gym: good.
Spa: under renovation, yet the price remained the same without any discount.
I also above these issues during check-out, and as a guest I was asked: “What can we do?” At that point, there was really nothing that could be done anymore for us — serious management check is all I would recommend now!"
