”Don’t expect to be able to get any food if you haven’t pre booked it. We travelled from the uk and after a long journey wanted some food and a glass of fizz. Only to be told that wasn’t possible. But a local bar shut in one hour so we needed to be quick. For a place that cost over 330 pounds a night I’d expect a little bit more service. The grounds and the place are beautiful but being able to get basic food and drink has always been staple in France so was very disappointing we couldn’t get...

”My wife and I stayed here as part of a short overview trip of France to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The spectacual photos in the listing don't even do this place justice as it truly is a place you'd want to tour if you weren't staying there. But what really made this place speical was the host, Iris, who is a national treasure. She lives in an attached home, and she has made it her mission to purchase and restore this anchient chapel, which was being used as a barn when she acquired...

”There were eight adult family members on vacation. The property is absolutely amazing. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the only sounds you hear are the sheep in the dry moat and the birds that inhabit the property. Though there is no air conditioning in the home, the temperatures were very manageable with the windows open. Chartres is a charming town, away from the hustle and bustle of Paris....

”Nous avons séjourné avec amis et enfants dans cette très belle maison avec dépendance en pleine campagne et au calme. Les 2 logements sont propres et bien équipés. C'est simple, tout y est! Les enfants ont pu profiter de la salle de jeux et les plus grands du jacuzzi. Mylene et son mari sont très réactifs et tout a été très bien pensé pour faciliter l'arrivée des voyageurs.Nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour profiter cette fois ci du grand jardin et de sa piscine.”
