”My fiancee and I only stayed one night at Chateau de La Riviere, and I wish we had stayed longer. Communications with Alice, one of our hosts, were clear and easy. Upon arrival, we were told that we were the only ones staying that night! This made it feel like a fairy tale - a chateau all to ourselves! The historical flavor of the property made us feel like we were back in the 17th century. We were served an excellent multi-course meal by Chef Carole, who not only prepped and prepared our meal,...

”The host was very nice and spoke good English. Our room was cramped and somewhat dated. The toilet was separate from shower area and both doors had to be closed to navigate around the bed. Breakfast was great. There was a close-by restaurant where we had a dinner. It was really very nice for the price!”

”There were eight adult family members on vacation. The property is absolutely amazing. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the only sounds you hear are the sheep in the dry moat and the birds that inhabit the property. Though there is no air conditioning in the home, the temperatures were very manageable with the windows open. Chartres is a charming town, away from the hustle and bustle of Paris....

”Palautumisyö pitkän ajomatkan jälkeen ennen Pariisin kentälle siirtymistä. Siisti perushotelli, joka palvelee mutkattomasti ja luotettavalla tavalla. Rauhallisuus ja pimennysmahdollisuus takasivat hyvät ja tarpeelliset yöunet. Hissii puuttuu, mikä ei meille ollut ongelma, mutta vanhemmalle väelle varmasti olisi. Motelli-hotellilla hyvät pysäköintimahdollisuudet heti huoneiden viereen, mikä helpottaa juuri tällaista yötä paljon, vaikkakin ahtaat parkkiruudut. Respa auki rajitetusti, mutta...
