”While this is a historical venue I was disappointed with several things that I felt should have been much better for the price. We had a porch which was absolutely filthy with spiders, cobwebs, and dead bugs. They did send someone quickly to take care of this however it helped a little but there was still spiders and webs in the porch railings. The bathroom was small and we had an issue with the hot water not being hot part of one day. Not sure I'd recommend this to anyone for the price.”

”Very clean treehouse with an excellent view of the river. We had a great time exploring nearby caves and towns and were able to fully relax afterwards. The stairs to the loft are pretty steep so keep that in mind. Bruce was easy to talk to. Great stay.”

”We were there for my son's wedding at the River Mountain Resort. We had quite a few guests to accommodate and chose this property. It was only 11 minutes from the Resort. The house was fantastic and is like the pictures portray. Although it rained all weekend, the wedding was awesome and we were able to take advantage of both the pool and hot tub, especially, the hot tub. The hosts were very responsive and forthcoming. My only regret was there was a super cool golf cart in the garage that we...

”We had a wonderful time here! Even though it rained, we still walked the trails & enjoyed the hot tub. It was so nice to relax & listen to the rain! We are looking forward to our return in the fall to see the big koi fish. With the rain, we were unable to see them. Mason's story about their old age of 35 was fascinating! It will be nice to enjoy the kayaks & hammock next time as well. Grouseland is definitely our new getaway place!”
