”The most beautiful room we have ever had with stunning sea views and a great roof terrace that gets very busy. The only disappointment we had was the pool which is very small and in a public area without guest lounging space so we felt uncomfortable to use it. The breakfast was fantastic and great value as it was included and the breakfast restaurant area is beautiful, again with lovely views however service was very slow. ”

”It is a magnificent property with great facilities. Well located enough. But Plattenberg is a plain soulless residential seaside town. No quality in terms of restaurants. The property is closed to shops, cafés and beach (if you don’t mind the very steep hike back). ”

”The Whaling station has a perfect location, the staff are helpful and friendly. The managers are always available to help. The walk to the lagoon is a perfect way to start the day. The Whaling station is close to the centre of town, Old Nick village is down the road and everything feels very safe and secure. ”

”Self catering room in cottage pie needs a renovation . The windows lead onto the street,so this would make it a security issue if one would like to sit outside. The bedroom is dark and gloomy the bathroom had a broken light. The overall facilities and the staff were very good ”

”Fabulous! Quiet location, attentive staff, excellent breakfast. Cristiana is a special and quiet part of Plettenberg Bay, away from the main beaches and town. A place to go for a calm, restorative break!”

”Nice big apartment a short walk to the beach and in a peaceful location. Not too far from a Spar, restaurant, pharmacy and petrol station. You need to drive though. A little maintenance required as one of the hotplates didn't work.”

”The Junction is a nice place to stay in Plett. The beds are comfortable, there is Aircon and the style is modern and new. The rooms are not very bright, so not the best place to hang in the day, but absolutely perfect as a nightly base, especially with the block-out curtains. The location is excellent right in the middle of town so you can walk anywhere. Right by Seakrit Spot and Market off Main which is very convenient. I’d stay here again for a short stay of a few nights. ”
