”Recently reopened, this hotel is probably the best boutique hotel we’ve stayed at. It’s perfect for a relaxing stay, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and looked after. The place has been designed and executed to an outstanding level. Our room was incredible. Excellent breakfast and it’s in a fantastic location to explore Keurboom beaches and the wider Plett area. ”The Whaling station has a perfect location, the staff are helpful and friendly. The managers are always available to help. The walk to the lagoon is a perfect way to start the day. The Whaling station is close to the centre of town, Old Nick village is down the road and everything feels very safe and secure. ”

”Self catering room in cottage pie needs a renovation . The windows lead onto the street,so this would make it a security issue if one would like to sit outside. The bedroom is dark and gloomy the bathroom had a broken light. The overall facilities and the staff were very good ”

”The staff were really on-it with everything and super attentive - they'd offer us drinks while at the pool, the manager checked we were having a good stay over breakfast and any issues we had (e.g. mosquitoes one night) they quickly sorted out for us.”
