”The front desk staff was VERY RUDE!”

”The area was nice..the hotel was right next to 81..it was clean..front desk was very efficient and friendly..breakfast was really nice..I would definitely stay at this property again!”

”The property was recently sold and is undergoing renovations. I wish we knew that renovations were happening. The property holds promise to return to 5 star. There is clearly lots of work being done to the property. The bed was comfortable, there was someone to contact for any issues. I did contact the person listed and they were prompt in their response. The staff for the home cooked breakfast was polite, engaging and clearly loved working at Rockwood. The one true negative were...

”Nice and quiet location.”

”The room I stayed in had a terrible odor the shower had hair in it when I got there. I stayed 2 nights and on the second day I asked for towels and the front desk clerk said she would send some up I asked twice never received any. Oh and there breakfast ends at 9:00 and most of the other hotels owned by the same people are open till 10 the only thing nice about the hotel was the pool was clean and it’s close to Claytor lake”

”An amazing location.”

”Excellent stay!!! Wifi is spotty and phone service is nonexistent so make sure you have other means of communication already downloaded on your phone. I do have to said that we (12 cousins) did not miss our phones at all, it give us a means of connecting with the family that we hadn’t seen since Covid.”

”Our trip was wonderful, but staying at CJ and Mitch’s beautiful property made it truly unforgettable. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, and the mountain views from the back porch are breathtaking. My dad especially loved spending time with their sweet dogs and donkeys—it became one of the highlights of our trip. We spent so much time relaxing on the porch, soaking in the peaceful scenery, and it honestly couldn’t have been any better. My dad has Alzheimer’s, and seeing him smile, laugh, and enjoy...

”Fantastic stay! Worked out great.”

”the owner needs to be taken off this app, he came into the house while we were staying a beat on all the doors, we had one more day but he chased us out with a baseball bat”

”House was very clean with a well appointed kitchen. Great space for a large family with room to spread out. We love being beside the beautiful creek. ”

”very nice”

”The property was beautiful. Loved seeing all the cows. There is a big picture window in the living room and the view was great. The road into the property was very windy. House was very well maintained and the gas range with infrared lights was fun to use. I made omelettes. The host was very quick to respond to all questions and requests.”

”The Cottage and the property were both outstanding. The home had everything you could possibly need plus the owner, Lisa, had little extras such as snacks in the refrigerator. The property is absolutely beautiful and the creek out front was soothing to the soul. We saw deer, geese and all kinds of pretty birds. Lisa and Mike are great hosts and kept in touch to make sure we had everything we could possibly need. Ceres is about 35 minutes away from Marion where there are many restaurants to...
