”This is an exceptional property on a vineyard outside of Bordeaux. We found the areas of Bordeaux and Blaye convenient, friendly, historic and full of Old World Charm, while escaping the chaos of Paris. The property is well appointed, in excellent repair and offered many outdoor activities perfect for families. The outdoor wine barrel plunge pool was so much fun and bicycles for everyone to explore the vineyard and town. The groceries were 3 minutes away and it all made for a relaxing...

”Nuit de contrastes. Autant l'accueil de la propriétaire était chaleureux autant la chambre et les communs étaient glacés (panne de chaudière). On peut choisir de conserver un lieu "dans son jus" mais pas jusqu'à ne pas remplacer des rideaux déchirés ou rafraîchir les plafonds lépreux. Dernier aspect négatif pour un logement à ce tarif, l'absence de service de petit déjeuner. Bien qu'idéalement situé à proximité de la citadelle ce logement est d'un très mauvais rapport qualité/prix. Dommage. ”

The host was very accommodating and their entry/exit instructions were clear, as a beginning French learner I was able to understand the expectations. The photos do not show that the toilet is in a "closet" near the front door but sink and shower are in the far corner, so the bathroom situation is a little inconvenient.
