”A little far from downtown. No bath mat, but it’s needed. The bed was way way too soft. The sink was clogged. WIFI was very slow. Breakfast was good. ”

”There seemed to be a pack of dogs in the area barking all through the night. One about 3 doors down from our room that appeared to belong to a staff or manager there. The walkway was gated with a sign to keep closed to keep the dog in, the stairs smell of dog urine and the steps were dirty. THe room we were given on check in did not look like the one pictured and had only one bed. We objected and were moved to the type of room pictured. ”We had a wonderful stay at Amarela. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and there are a lot of local specialities to choose from. The beach is clean and guarded so one can really enjoy the white sand and the turquise sea feeling safe.”

”Huge suite - beautiful pool areas with a great maintained garden. Alfresco breakfast area with an amazing view! Smaller breakfast buffet, but good enough. There is access to the narrow beach, however Alona beach is more about bars, so we enjoyed more the pool areas of the resort with ocean view. ”

Recommended. + water refill service - no near store and a bit far from centrum/malls. - entrance area outside should be cleaned to give better first impression.”

”We were upgraded to a villa after a 2 day booking in deluxe room and then the oceana suite, which we never actually got to see after being upgraded to a villa. We'd had a couple of maintenance issues with a plug socket and then a leaking lavatory in our first room.
