”Hotel was a little older and needed few upgrades seems like they are trying to get the hotel upgraded a little at time seemed short handed at times was a little concerned about the fire alarm system being operational and the fact that they had a dehumidifier in our room and there was covered up water damage in our room carpet always felt wet.But would stay there again for the fact they really seem like they were trying to address the issues.”

”I love the historical history of this hotel. I know its hard times right now to keep up the property (its large) and too expensive to cool the whole building; but the rooms are very nice and quiet. I would definitely stay here again, its a great value and not a long drive to the Galveston cruise terminal (about an hour). This is now my go to for a night before boarding.”
