”This was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. It was scenic, top service, amazing meals and in a great location. The most important part was the staff. They are the most welcoming, kind and considerate staff. I had a bit of a stomach flu and the entire staff was going out of their way to help me. They made me ginger tea and the chef made me chicken soup. It was so nice. I highly recommend this property and Franshhoek as a place to visit. ”

”Nuwerus was one of the "fortunate" yet "unfortunate" places in Paarl that was "hit" hard with the recent fires. It was so close to the main buildings that I can only descibe it as hair-raising. Yet although you can see the fire damage to the gardens etc the service was once again spot-on and the facilities as clean and well appointed as we are used to. The owners really does care about the customers as well as the property. Well done is all I can say. Already booked my next stay.”

Other guests didn't respect the no noise after 10 PM rule and were quite loud which made it very hard to sleep as obviously in tents like these you hear everything.
