”This place an unbelievably well done. They’ve thought of all the little details- river towels, sunscreen and JBL by pool, super high end well appointed kitchen, storage in refrigerators, ice, seating areas for sunrise and sunsets, hidden TV room. The location is perfect for exploring Big Bend and good location for Terlingua spots. We ended up extending our stay because it was so relaxing and perfect.”

”Great stay in the heart of Alpine! The hotel was very clean and well-kept, with a modern boutique feel. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location is perfect. You can walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and local spots. It was a bit noisy at night, but nothing that ruined the experience. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Alpine.”

”It is a beautiful HISTORIC property so don't expect all the conveniences of modern buildings. It is well worth the sacrifice of some of those conveniences to enjoy the peace and beauty of the building. The train does come through multiple times day or night, but we found it interesting to watch. We enjoyed relaxing in the courtyard and walking around the area. Such COOL murals all over town! Staff was very friendly and everywhere we walked people seemed friendly as well!”

”Easily accessable property with good amenities ”

”We make the vintage vibes from the hotel. The pool was clean and the pool area was very well taken care of. Everything was clean, cool and comfortable. It had plenty of space for this mom and her two teenage sons to stay comfortably. We loved it. Super cute. I do wish the pool would stay open later on the weekends since quiet time is from 10pm-8 am. ”

”It’s a dark sky National Park, so there’s very little lights and we could not find the RV park but the owners directed us and sat out by the road with their vehicle lights on so we could find them! They went above and beyond!! Highly recommend. ”

”We really enjoyed our stay at the dome. The dome is small but still spacious. There are 2 plug outlets that can hold only cell phone/tablet/watch. No cell phone service (tmobile). The host did a really good job at giving instructions on how to get to the property as we lost cell service. The entrance to Big Bend is 20 minutes. The seclusion of the property was great! I would stay again if we decide to visit another time. ”
