”It's a motel meant to just crash for a night. Easy ample parking. Easy check-in and check out. Don't expect too much out of the property. It's the cheapest motel you'll get in the area so you get what you pay for. Just use it to crash for the night and get out. However there are some great breakfast and coffee places right outside.”

”The stay itself was amazing and perfectly placed between the park and surrounding city. The single issue I had was the toaster oven did not work. We purchased 80$ worth of groceries that had to ultimately get thrown out. All other amenities and electronics worked great. (No tv in the bedroom but the living room had smart tv). Overall 95/100 and compared to the other places to stay I’d definitely recommend this to anyone visiting big bend ! (Emory suite)”

”I'll be honest Willow House is part of why I committed to this trip. I saw it online and thought, this alone is worth going. And I say that as someone who has been burned by listings that oversell and underdeliver. Willow House is the opposite. The photos do not do it justice. The decor, the style, the way everything fits the landscape. It's minimal desert architecture done exactly right. Not only was the design thought out and intentional, but they clearly thought through the entire experience...

”Was only a dome with a speaker and dirty socks under the bed and a port-a-potty. There was no chairs or places to sit under the stairs or a fireplace I felt like I was roughing it. Way overpriced considering what is was. I would not stay again ”

”The continental breakfast was depleted by 9 o’clock when it was supposed to continue until 930. Food had to be brought back to the room to eat as there was only one small table in that area, no TV. There is also a spider on the floor of the room that was the size of a tarantula No extra blankets or pillows were available in the room and the bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was so old it still has springs in it. The check in was completed by a child. Very overpriced.”

”Probably my worst hotel experience ever. Hotel is under complete renovation. Construction material and waste littered throughout the hotel. My room had been about 90% renovated, and in my opinion shouldn’t have been bookable. I’m really disappointed with Holiday Inn Express experience. Mostly upset that they didn’t disclose to would be customers that the hotel was under construction. I would not have stayed there had they disclosed this. Do not stay at this hotel until construction...
