”It was really like a 4.5. The resort was a great little oasis in the middle of desert. We were doing a couple days in Big Bend and needed a base camp. The kids loved the pool and the beds were comfortable and soft. The restaurant onsite was great! All the staff we interacted with were great! AC in the room worked wonderfully! Would definitely stay again if ever back in the area.”

”It's way off the highway! No tv, radio or cell phone reception. GREAT!! They do have good fast WIFI. Onsite restaurant serves good meal variety at resonable prices. Interesting Carroll Shelby history.”

”The room we stayed in was a bit smaller than what i like but don't let that deter you. The room was the perfect temperature, had two very comfortable beds, a smart tv with Roku, a clean bathroom and very little ambient noise. All with a beautiful rustic decor. Check in and check out were as simple as it gets. The location was perfect. We will definitely be staying here again.”

”It’s a dark sky National Park, so there’s very little lights and we could not find the RV park but the owners directed us and sat out by the road with their vehicle lights on so we could find them! They went above and beyond!! Highly recommend. ”

”This property was between Alpine and Terlingua, so it is pretty remote. The area is beautiful and the motel property was cute. The room was clean, my only criticism is the beds were too firm for my liking. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay. I definitely recommend.”

”We really enjoyed our stay at the dome. The dome is small but still spacious. There are 2 plug outlets that can hold only cell phone/tablet/watch. No cell phone service (tmobile). The host did a really good job at giving instructions on how to get to the property as we lost cell service. The entrance to Big Bend is 20 minutes. The seclusion of the property was great! I would stay again if we decide to visit another time. ”
