”We had the most magnificent room set back up the hill away from the road. We had a weka wandering outside our front sliding door. The staff in the dining room were professional but also friendly and chatty which we enjoy. This hotel is quality in every way. A do not miss for a very reasonable price! ”

”I stayed 1 night here with family and really enjoyed it. We arrrived just at sun set and the owner met us. We went straight to the beach from the property via a forest track where you can watch the sunset. We had a large self catering cottage to ourselves and our room was ensuite. Very pleasant stay and really quiet location. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay again.”

”We woke up at 5:30 am (well, for me it is in the middle of the night) and after because the hotel dogs were barking. I don't think that dogs who bark in the night belong to the hotel/motel where guests try to sleep. Also we didn't feel ourselves too welcome to this accommodation when we arrived. Good sides were the location and the kitchen was functioning ok. ”

”Beautiful well thought out space. Can’t say enough about our suit and the owners. The location is right on the water with easy walking access to the beach and hiking trails. Our hosts Sandra and Doc were very accommodating and made us feel at home. The suit was like new fitted with high end modern appointments. The breakfast that they provided was just what we needed. Had we known how nice this place was we would have scheduled this in our plans for a few more days. ”

”Nice clean property with decent view of ocean. Has amazing sunsets. Recommend owner add scrubber sponge for dish washing, more hand towels, and dish towels. Also recommend better labels on rubbish, recycle and compost bins because it was a total guess on how to distribute waste. Very good remote property, some highway noise but limited to occasional vehicles. Would definitely stay there again. ”
