”From the moment we arrived we were spoilt and everything was so perfect every little detail was taken care of All the staff were so helpful kind and friendly our ranger was fantastic and so knowledgeable and caring towards the animals The lodge we stayed in was so perfect I cried with happiness when I saw it and the perfect views we had we were in lodge B Thank you so much for our lovely stay we only wished we had booked for longer and the food was exceptional”

”Everything was perfect!”

”Exceptional stay at Camp Figtree - the staff were absolutely outstanding and there was nothing that wasn't anticipated. Meals were superb, game drives were wonderful, nature walk was tremendous, and simply lying around the pool was amazing. Everything was out of this world.”

”The lodge was nice but it was in the middle of nowhere! We also felt we were ‘fleeced’ for our trip to Addo. Our friends were charged half what we were charged for their exact same game drive. We were taken from the lodge on a very uncomfortable 1.5hr drive in an old truck that did not even have air conditioning. ”

”Brilliant experience, great food, family friendly. Staff are all lovely and helpful. Really fun memorable stay . Great to get out and see the animals in a natural setting and see the beautiful nature”

”This hotel is aware of our unfortunate experience. They are dealing with it in a positive manner.”

”alt ok nær ved Addo”

”Wow! This hotel looks better in real life than in pictures. We had a gorgeous and spacious rooms with private showers also outside. They have absolutely beautiful garden with a lot of flowers. The service was excellent if you do not take in account the waiting time for breakfast or lunch food. We enjoyed the set dinner in their beautiful restaurant. In some reviews the restaurant had been compared with Michelin star restaurants. I would not raise expectations that high to avoid disappointment,...

”Tolle Unterkunft. Schöne Anlage. Gutes Frühstück!”

”The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food simply amazing. Excellent value for money overall.”

”ROOM GREAT BUT VERY SMALL & COMPACT AS WAS THE BATHROOM. GREAT LOCATION AND VERY PRETTY. ATE IN THE BAR AND FOOD WAS NOT THAT HOT AS PREPARED ELSE WHERE. TASTE AND FLAVOUR WERE GOOD THOUGH. DIDN'T TELL US KITCHEN WAS CLOSING SO WHEN WE ORDERED A DESERT COULD NOT GET ONE. MOTS PLACES COME AND ASK DURING THE MEAL IF THIS IS THE CASE. A GREAT PLACE TO STAY STILL ON A LONG TRIP.”

”Quirky little place to stay with a wide range of room options. Self catering cabins, dung beetle suites, or chalets are on option. I expected the ding beetle suites to be a room in a larger building. Instead was a self contained quonset hut style accomodation. Had a shower ,toilet, fridge inside, so was quite serviceable. However for a long stay such as ours the chalet was much more comfortable. Thanks to Henry for recognition and upgrading us without prompting. Breakfast was fantastics. ...

”Staff and guides were all excellent and thoroughly enjoyed the drives. Lodge and food also excellent and we met some fantastic people, however we very very disappointed with our accommodation. We had expected an individual lodge in a private and peaceful setting however we were situated in a lodge attached to another lodge just above the main lodge and kitchen block. So we could constantly hear noise of the kitchen preparations, plates and bins being emptied and staff singing and talking rather...

”Great food, great game drives with knowledgeable drivers. The drivers are wildlife experts and were happy to answer any questions (and we had a lot!). I really hoped to see the giraffes up close and our driver delivered!”

”Did not go to the Spa and di not have a pet. The apartment was clean and serviced very day. Staff were friendly. ”

”A very peaceful stay in a lovely location ”

”Pool not used as windy and cloudy but it needed a bit of a clean and some new loungers”
