”Stayed, two adults, two kids. Room was slightly updated from the pictures- two beds vs the picture showed bunk beds. Overall nice, black out curtains, room enough for all our bags. Breakfast included was tasty and perfect. Would def stay again. ”

”A lovely little hotel for a one night stop. Staff were all lovely and friendly. Our room was pleasant, on the ground floor, very clean with a comfortable bed. We ate in for dinner which was very good, good choice, also choice for vegetarians, and the portions were very good. Breakfast was a simple but good buffet. Very happy with our stay. ”

”We had a wonderful time at Burnside during our road trip through Scotland. Our suite was comfortable and provided all we needed. We loved walking around the tranquil setting and making friends with the local sheep. Our host was friendly, attentive, and the food wonderful. She lent us binoculars and guided us to the best places to see puffins. We’re happy we had the opportunity to stay there.”

”Being on my own with the dog, i was a little apprehensive. Absolutle no need. Booking in was easy. I was informed ofthe dog friendly places to eat. I was wvenoffered cutlery uf u wanted to order in. Breakfast was delivered to the room which is what they do for everyone. Was fresh and spot on poached eggs. Deffo recommend. Budget but good”

”This was just an overnight after driving up from Dornoch and getting on the ferry to Orkney at Gills Bay the next morning. However Eilean and Graeme greeted us in the parking area and helped us move into our room. Provided us with lots of info on their property and where to eat. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast in the morning had lots of variety and our choices were delicious. ”
