”The pictures do not represent the property at all! The hotel is run down, at least by the looks of the outside and from desk area, and the area is extremely sketchy. When I booked this room, it did not say smoking room in the description, so when I showed up to the hotel, they said they only had a smoking room for me. I could not stay in a smoking room, and they had no other rooms available. Which honestly was a blessing considering how unsafe I felt there just by driving up to it. So the...

”Our stay at this grand home exceeded our expectations. We checked in later than we had wished (our own travel snags) but our host was quick to respond and help us get settled in. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we slept well. The bathroom was stocked with anything you’d need, very clean and inviting. I only wish I’d had time to have a bubble bath in the beautiful tub. I’d highly recommend Shoal Creek B&B and would stay again in a heartbeat! ”

”Beautiful and peaceful place. It was a perfect retreat for us (5 sisters) and so convenient for our shopping in Hamilton. The hosts were wonderful!”

”The kitchen was well stocked with essential utensils. The fridge is amazing - large, with ice maker. We enjoyed the open flow of the dining/lounge/living room area. We even had space to open a folding table to do a jigsaw puzzle. The beds are comfortable and rooms nicely decorated. Bathrooms are upstairs and down, so very convenient. We will be back! ”

”This property was clean and in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it for anyone. Just note all the bedrooms are upstairs so if you have limitations from climbing stairs this isn’t fir you. Otherwise it is a wonderful place to stay.”
