”Hubby and I celebrating our 35th anniversary. The location was private, quiet and mere feet from the water. The house was charming and exactly what we needed. We had fun exploring the Kitty Hawk and Virginia Beach area. The screen porch provided great protection from the insects while allowing the sounds of the water to lull you into relaxation. ”

”Our family had the best time! I have older teens and young adult children, and my mom with us and we didn't leave for our first 2 days here. Between fishing, kayaking, the swimming possibilities, and nightly game of Monopoly, this was absolutely perfect! We were here in mid July and a pod of dolphins spent one whole afternoon straight out from the pier not to far away. The only 1 thing that was "inconvenient" and I use that term loosely because we absolutely loved being away from the hustle and...

”We had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, and the host was very responsive to messages. It’s a beautiful location on the water with kayaks and a paddle board provided. Our dogs loved roaming the property and the neighbors are all very nice and welcoming. The highlight was watching the sunsets out on the dock. We would highly recommend!”

”They didn't tell me they had somebody living on site until I was on my way there, between midnight and 2:30 a.m., because I told them I would be late, getting there.There was somebody else there when I got there in the room that I was supposed to be in, plus the person that lives on site.The key was where it was supposed to be, but the outside door was locked, and I rang the doorbell several times, and contacted the host, by calling and sending messages, and I still had to wait about 20 minutes...

”We enjoyed our stay and seeing all of the horses! It was perfect for our long weekend trip! My only suggestion is to provide more information on the listing. It did say 4x4 but not that you would be driving on the beach for several miles and that there are no restaurants, gas or stores after corolla. A big thank you to Brad for providing dinner for weary travelers! I should have done more research! It was so worth it!”

”It is a beautiful country style cottage with wonderful scenery. There was games to play like scavenger hunt which was super fun with our youngest niece. The outside was so relaxing with the backyard setting. The house was inviting and had everything we needed and them some. We really enjoy it ”

”The stairs were a bit much for our dog. I ended up having to carry my dog down each time. It's obviously an older building, updates that have been made are pretty decent. It could still use some more, especially in the bathroom to make it a much better experience. ”
