”we absolutely loved our stay! when we arrived we were grateful for all the directions and suggestions on the car and how to get there. the hot tub was incredible! we woke up to a rainbow the following day and than enjoyed a fantastic lightening storm. we stayed in the the glass cabin 2.0 they even left us fresh eggs for the morning!”

”Excellent”

”We wanted to book somewhere in the middle of nowhere and this was what we booked. What a stunning view of the surrounding area and the night sky was something I hope I can remember forever. The lodge was what you can expect for the price, certainly adequate enough and breakfast was more than enough and was included too. We arrived just before the season start and I think there’s an image of the jacuzzi but don’t expect it to be operational, no big deal. Have a walk around the local area, there’s...

”Our party of 3 arrived the evening of Apr 3rd for a 3 night stay. The owner showed us to our cabin, and it was in terrible condition. The stairs were loose, the handrailing was rickety, the door didn't fit properly. Once inside, we could see it was poorly built, the bathroom was dirty, and it appeared not to have hot water, although we never had a chance to find out for sure. We went for something to eat, and then came back to the cabin for a shower and a nights sleep. My 2 friends were...

”The pictures don’t do it justice. It is so much prettier in person and is such a nice little place. Would definitely recommend”

”An amazing property! Great use of a small space, and a view to die for. The owners were very attentive, and the area is great to visit.”

”A unique experience! Where you feel like you’re in an old style farm home. It had plenty of hot water for everyone and the views were spectacular. Communication with the owner and directions to the property where clear and accurate. The owner’s son came out to visit us and allow us to tour his coffee plantation, that supplies fair trade coffee to the US. The amount of native birds flying around the property was spectacular. Toucans, parrots, hummingbirds, and everything in between. If this is...

”This was the perfect location for our time in Monteverde. It is a small house but it is charming and worked well for our family of 2 adults and 2 children ages 6 & 9. The view across the street is incredible. Kenneth was a kind and communicative host and was happy to share recommendations.”

”Fantastic property! Compound with so much more than just a home.”

”Clean, friendly, as described very reasonable ”

”This property was clean and well-appointed. It was very rainy while we were there, so we only got a short glimpse of the view one morning, but it was beautiful! Lots of birds to watch and since the house is up on the hill it is a bumpy ride to get there but worth it for the privacy and view. We enjoyed being able to come back to this home after our adventures in Monteverde.”

”Jose was a very welcoming host and great communicator throughout the booking process and our stay at his beautiful property. Words cannot describe and pictures can't capture the amazing views from this home. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, but restaurants and markets were nearby. We booked a short stay to visit Monteverde Cloud Forest, but wish we had an extra night to explore and enjoy the area around this property. The compact size was perfect for us as a couple and offered...
