”Savegre was unbelievable. Their attention to every detail exceeded all of our expectations. Their staff was very kind and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. We also did the 4 hour quetzal/birding tour which was great. I would definitely return to this spot. One tip for travelers, it was cold so be prepared! ”

”Prepare to be swept away! My recent stay at this boutique luxury hotel was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a sense of tranquility and pampered luxury. The rooms are an absolute dream – spotlessly clean and boasting a sleek, modern design. Having a private kitchen was such a treat. And the river views! Waking up to that gorgeous vista every morning was simply breathtaking. Speaking of delights, the gourmet five-course dinners were an absolute revelation....

”The proprietor, Fateh, was kind, attentive and helpful. Our room was beautiful as were the surroundings. Fateh took care of arranging our tours and saw that we had breakfast every morning before heading out. We took advantage of a wonderful meal in the Villas restaurant, walked the grounds to see the waterfall, and took a yoga class from Fateh herself. The experience provided at Waterfall Villas was relaxing, nurturing and enjoyable. We loved it there!”

"Starting with the positives: the view was just amazing, from my room I saw both the sea and the jungle, and sitting on the terrace during a thunderstorm, listening the howlers and looking at the scarlet macaws flying from a tree to tree was an incredible experience. I also liked the breakfast and food in general, and the staff was friendly. On the other hand, the room was very basic, only a bed, chair, table and a coffee machine, shampoo and poor quality towels in the bathroom. 2 plastic chairs and a table at the terrace. I had booked a room for 3, with a futon sofa; there was no futon in the room. When I complained about this, they asked why do I need a futon. Well, in principle I would like to get what I pay for. The manager was not ”available” to address my complaint, and also during the check-out the same staff member ignored my complaint. For a price of almost 300$/night I would expect more comfort in the room."
