”The staff was amazing! Like unbelievably amazing! Greeted at the dock, luggage taken care of, greeted with fresh watermelon juice, chef cooked such delicious meals (dessert included), housekeeping cleaned 2-3 times a day, cooper hooked us up with tours, everything was great and relaxing. 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the national park, 5 minute walk to the village. ”

”Every member of the staff was amazing. Everyone was welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to make my stay the best I could possibly be. The food was delicious. the tours were personal and led by very knowledgeable guides. If you don’t have time to do all of the activities, and if you’re there for nature, I recommend skipping the jungle hike to the top of mountain. It’s no more than a walk up a bunch of steps to a lookout point.”

Keine Gefahr tagsüber oder in the Night on Walkway. Nachts Beach ist verboten, ganz klar. Sonst gibt es Wasserboat. Einfach alles excellent.

”Very special hotel in the middle of the jungle. Clean, beautiful and amazing staff working there. We had the best time ever”

”The staff at this hotel are nothing short of incredible. They go out of their way to make sure their guests are comfortable and taken care of. We did all the tours with their partner Tuanis Tours and found the guides knowledgeable and fun. All the tours went on a little longer because the guides were determined to make sure we saw all animals possible. They even made the tours enjoyable the few times we got caught in the rain. The hotel was also super accommodating and helpful when a storm...

”We had 4 HUGE roaches in our room when we arrived! My husband had to kill them; just so we could sleep & feel comfortable-still was hard bc we were wondering if more would come out at night & crawl all over us while sleeping! Next night we had a lizard on our pillows before bedtime. Plus; safety wise we had No glass on the windows had to sleep with only screens on windows! Only a ceiling fan; as they don’t offer air conditioning. The walking trail on the property is really run down & full of...

”9/10!! Great staff. Good breakfast. Amazing views from the deck. Conveniently located downtown Tortuguero. The tour guide, Luis, we had was great. I highly recommend Casa Marbella, and their tours!”

”Very nice staff and clean room with hammock on the terrace. Beautiful surrounding near turtle center. Remember to bring cash because the only ATM might not work.”

”The nature of this place is absolutely amazing. Also, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.”

”Beautiful and rustic surroundings. Staff was excellent.”

”Rana Roja was absolutely amazing! The owner Herardo was super nice, hospital and helpful. This place was more than advertised. They had a small and cute pool with a small waterslide which was nice addition during the warm evening. The property had many interesting walking paths which kind of felt like being on a nature tour or a hike, very cool! The owner was very helpful in making our stay comfortable and gave us good tips for tours around the area. We ended up going to a turtle watching tour...

”We had a good big room but there was a hole in the roof and water was coming in. The location is very good because it is next to a beach. Sometimes it was smelling bad because they were burning carbage on the beach just outside the hotel.”

”Ok for 1 night on way to Caribbean side.”
