”Lovely location with incredible reviews. Seeing the released red macaws on site was a treat. Tours booked via the hotel were excellent and we appreciated the recourse when one of our tours did not work out. Really loved the upper sunset deck. Restaurant was decent. Pool lovers may be disappointed with the pool.”

”10/10 would recommend this resort. My husband and I stayed here 20 years after he first stayed at this same resort with his family as a teenager. They had great things to say then, and we have amazing things to say now! The resort was clean and had the most gorgeous views. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with anything we needed at any time. Shout out to Marco at Mogotes pool bar for always making sure our cups were full.
We had an amazing time here and would definietly stay here...

”Property was very nice although the walking up and down the hills within the property was difficult and felt dangerous especially on the rolling surface installed. Service was great although there was a tendency to gouge for trivial services (ie salt and lime on a beer glass was an upcharge, Evian bottles of water $9 each). Bartending, waiters and golf cart drivers were definitely the saving grace. Our room A/C system was marginal. ”

”Really enjoyed the Igloo Lodge! Super close to beach, nice pool and loungers, interesting igloos, thankfully decently soundproofed/not noisy despite being right next to road. Nice to have mini fridge in igloo. Good breakfast (with choice of 6 different breakfasts). ”

”Starting with the positives: the view was just amazing, from my room I saw both the sea and the jungle, and sitting on the terrace during a thunderstorm, listening the howlers and looking at the scarlet macaws flying from a tree to tree was an incredible experience. I also liked the breakfast and food in general, and the staff was friendly.
On the other hand, the room was very basic, only a bed, chair, table and a coffee machine, shampoo and poor quality towels in the bathroom. 2 plastic chairs...
