”I was happy with the motel and the staff. However, I chose this place over others because it openly said "Close to downtown" when in fact it is miles away. Other motels I passed over were on the same street. This is misleading and even unethical and moreover it must be a pain for the hotel clerk to have to answer for it to disappointed customers.”

”The location was great as it was halfway between my home in MA and my vacation destination in Hilton Head Island SC. I was also traveling with my dog. I stayed on the way to HHI and then on the way back to MA. The staff was very friendly and the accommodations for dogs was ideal, with a large grassy area in the back of the motel for bio breaks. I had a superior non smoking room on the way down, and a standard non smoking room on the way back. Both rooms were large, clean, and comfortable,...

”Room was fine. Floor in common spaces needed cleaning. Elevator floor and walls were noticeably dirty. Room had a musty smell and fan in bathroom did not work. Breakfast was mediocre. We asked if there was milk for the cereal and were given a partially frozen gallon of milk to use. It was not appealing. Proximity to Kings Dominion is as good as you can get. It is right across the street. There were railroad tracks behind the room but we did not hear any trains. Could be because we ran the air...

”The staff was kind and helpful. The room was clean and ENORMOUS. The hotel came with free breakfast which was delightful. Only negative is that the best was not the most comfortable.”

”Our stay was wonderful, we were surprised by the apt sized refrigerator with freezer as well as the dishwasher. The room was big with a nice couch. The shower was roomy. We only spent one night but would consider this type hotel again, especially for a longer stay.”

”The suite was nice and neat. Breakfast was wonderful, filling on our way out for busy day. Staff was very friendly. The issue was it was stifling hot in room. Air conditioner wasn't working well. Maintenance came and did something to it but it didn't help. They gave us fans to use but still was very warm and humid. Hopefully, they get that fix before summer season starts. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.”

”The building looks new and room looks new but nothing feels clean. Floor was dirty in the room. Walked out of shower to bed, my feet got dirty from the floor. Shower gel and shampoo was completely empty had to ask for them to replace. Hair dryer was also missing. Had to call for them to bring up. The room just didn't feel ready for us even though we online checked in 24hrs ahead. Plus there were ants in the lobby for 2 days and not cleaned or had a solution for. It was all over the coffee...

”This hotel was a very nice surprise, excellent quality for the price! Everything was new and absolutely spotless. The hotel had everything we needed, the room was huge and the bed very comfortable. It's refreshing to see hotels that are maintained this well. Extra points for having oat milk for coffee!”
