”The hostess, food and lodging were amazing. Loved the history of the home. We shared meaningful conversations with a few of the regular guests. The ambiance is that inviting and laid-back. The whole experience was delightful.”

”My room was fine but It felt overpriced for the property. Sad area that apparently was hopping at one time. Was very dark/ dingy with a weird couple out front cooking on a small grill. I saw no other people staying at the property.”

”Very close to entrance, clean and nice rooms. Would liked instructions on using satellite tv/ remote. ( for kids) and they put chemicals in the pool before check out. So, kids couldn’t swim between 9 am and 11. I feel like they should do that between 11-4 after you check out, and before you can check in. I would have liked to use up some of their energy before we left. But otherwise, a great stay.”

”Edward was the best host I have ever experienced while traveling. He provided so many extras for us in our cabin & was a wealth of knowledge about the area. Basically anything we needed or thought of, we found it in our cabin, or a quick text with Ed got us the answer! He suggested we visit the Sportsman Inn in Monticello for supper one night and it was a wonderful recommendation. We truly enjoyed it. We also visited France park while we were there, which was just a couple of minutes away...

”Rm 7 at Alexander landing is great. It was clean with everything you need. It has great outdoor space and a hot tub. October is perfect because we had the pace to ourselves. The only negative was the manager/ cleaning lady. Hot tub was supposed to be open but she rudely told us it wouldn’t be open for another half hour. We were preapproved for a late check out and she rudely told us we couldn’t have a late checkout. Just needs some training on how to kindly apologize when things are not as they...

”This was the worst experience I've ever had! I booked one address and was sent to a different one that was horrible! No backyard and no dock outside! There was also a door upstairs that should have been blocked off considering it was a straight drop. I was not greeted with any respect and I will not return, I suggest others find a better place that's safe.”
