”It was wonderful. It was a late night arrival after a stormy drive and such a pleasant welcoming. Too cold to try the pool. We were greeted by the owners upon arrival and also saw them when leaving who were very pleasant to chat with, as was the dog that carried a rubber boot around. Everything was modern and easy to use. Of the highlights were the home made bread along with jam and fresh farm eggs left for us, and awaking to see lambs just outside the windows with cattle not far in the pasture....

Slightly disapointed that the gardens hadn;t been mown for probably a month, only two tea-towels, no dishcloth, too few dishwashing powder tabs. Having said that, we had a wonderful weekend in a great location, a lovely spacious property. ”
