”Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. ”

”Everyone of the staff here I’ve had interaction with have been amazing. The housekeeping staff in particular made my vacation so nice. Only complaint was the guy just outside the front gate that called me a racist since I didn’t want to buy what he was selling. I will always come here”

”We were beyond happy with the cleanliness of the property and the accuracy of the description. Everything was as described - they even had a crate, dog bed and bowls for our pup. We had ample supplies - plenty of towels, basics and even charcoal for the grill! We will be going back.”

”Well-decorated home. Very close to town, and many homes in the area are “period” homes. Lots of antique shopping, but make sure to visit the Time and Measurement Museum. Wonderful visit to a great little town. ”

”This property was perfect for my husband and me while in town visiting my daughter and other family. The owners were super friendly and available for any of our needs. We basically just needed a place to sleep and we were able to slip in and out without disturbing anyone. Didn't get a chance to have a cup of coffee by the pool, but that backyard oasis was stunning!!!”

”This home was a beautiful historical home nestled in the heart of downtown Jefferson. There are plenty of bedrooms for family and friends. The grounds were beautiful and having a golf cart to zip around town was a bonus. My favorite part was the large front porch with swing to sit, drink some ice tea and watch those passing by the home. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the history of the town and the home. I do wish there were more shower options-- there is only one downstairs and one...

”It was gorgeous and very calming endless outdoor adventure. My only setback was this was the first experience with solar power and it would have been helpful to have a welcome book with instructions on how to unplug the outside lights when not in use as well as a guideline on the power and how to prevent overuse and what to do when if it runs out. Outside of this I highly recommend this oasis to disconnect from technology a bit and really enjoy time with your family and embrace the gorgeous...
