”As a couple we found the room adequate for our needs with a good price. Having the bar and it's dining facilities close by was a bonus and staff made us feel most welcome which made for a pleasant stay.”

”After a long drive from Strahan it was such a delight to get to our room at the Masden. Had a front room with a view of the water. The room was modern, clean and comfortable with some added extras like a spa bath and microwave. Easy access, lots of street parking and little cafes to eat at close by. ”

”Great communication. Nice touches leaving extra goodies. Bonus that you could watch Netflix too. Bed not comfortable though. Like most motels body imprints both sides and need to sleep on middle of bed. Motels in general need to consider better mattresses. ”

”The apartment was clean and homely with all that we needed for a peaceful 4 day stay.the large size meant we could have our own space which is good when travelling. We didn't want to leave. Sue was accommodating on any questions we had. ”

”This is an absolutely beautiful, luxurious accommodation. We stayed in room 1, the spacious two bedroom apartment upstairs. With a large, airy, open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, every room was immaculate, beautifully appointed and well-equipped with everything you might need for a very comfortable stay. A gorgeous ocean view, a large balcony deck for enjoying the views, and very lovely, gracious hosts. If you're coming to NW Tassie, this is a very fine place to stay. Highly recommended.”

”We had one night in the Devonport area after coming off the Spirit of Tasmania, and the Red Door was a wonderful place to stay. Beth's communication before our visit was prompt and helpful, and we appreciated her restaurant recommendation. We also really appreciated being welcomed to check in early since the cottage booking schedule allowed for that. Breakfast was very nice--just what we'd requested.Definitely recommend the Red Door!”
