”Be careful in booking this place, place is not bad by itself. But the whole day they had power issues, and before booking they did not notify that they frequently have power issues with no electricity support coming thru. The staff could not solve the issue rather delayed response despite booking the best suite they had to offer. So i would suggest booking in a different area where they don’t have frequent power problems. Again, Hotel itself is not bad; it was okay-ish, but 70% of the time there...

”So this is priced like the peninsula, however it’s just not there. The mattress is very good, the rooms are large, but the upkeep and standards aren’t there. I had used toiletries in the room and intermittent hot water. (I’m a western traveller) That said. The service is really good. The staff will go whatever mile you need them to. They are patient and kind. Stay here if the location is good for you, and you’re okay with a hotel that’s mostly tolerable, but roughly around the edges. ”

”The rooms are very spacious which is the best aspect of the hotel. The bathroom floor around the toilet was dirty and the shower and walls needed a scrubbing. The rugs in the room were filthy. The balcony floor was so dirty I tracked black footprints into the room after walking on it. ”

”Single room is very basic and doesnt look like photos. Windows have gaps. Many mosquitos get into the room. Staff kept asking for tips. 1st employee asked for tip when i requested soap. Concierge asked for tip when i requested toilet paper. At midnight 12 am 1st employee banged loudly on my door while i was sleeping and turned the handle while attempting to enter room. After i woke up and opened the door he told me the reason for his midnight banging: he wanted a tip. I chased him to the office....
