”I'd been waiting 50 years to stay here! A fabulous little "tourist" motel complex literally across the street from the Soo Locks. As a child on vacation, my parents would drive by this modest venue on our way into Ontario to fish and etc. Our destination was never the Soo proper ... But it was mine, last week! Yes, the walls are thin and the venue itself is "retro" all the way, but the people are friendly and, honestly, compared to the two Wyndham properties I stayed stayed at on the same trip...

”Beautiful restful lake view property, less than 90minutes drive to Pictured Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls. Small town center had convenient, market restaurants, and a gas station with delicious ice cream. The owner and staff were gracious and accommodating. The continental breakfast with yogurt option was good; however, if you need more protein or something more substantial, bring in or go out to eat. Free canoe and kayak rentals, a walking path, and a fire pit make for a lovely lake life...

”Close to highway interchange. Clean facility and was greeted immediately by the on duty manager. Check in process was fast and efficient. Room was clean and well equipped. Would stay here again and recommend to others. ”

”We came to go snowmobiling. This hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. It was very close to a gas station and the trail. We will stay again if we come back. ”
