”The floor plan was pretty cool- queen bed was upstairs in a loft area by itself and king bed in the main room. The fridge was on the fritz, but maintenance came right away to fix. Unfortunately the room had a “pet smell”, as folks can bring their animals along. All in all, we would stay here again!”

”Ease of check in and out. Loved the beds. Had to ask for tissues and hand soap. Staff very responsive. Late crowd came to breakfast at 9:00, when breakfast was closing. They brought more food and kept serving.”

”I always say that for those who are traveling to Michigan’s UP that they should not expect luxury. With that said, The Last Resort should be some folks first option when looking for a place to stay. It represented the UP perfectly. The office combos as a bait and tackle shop, and a friendly dog was there to greet us at the door. The room was perfectly simple. ”Rooms were great breakfast was awesome. Hot tub jets weren't good seemed like a bath tub and sauna was not warm. Otherwise great place will stay again”

”Place was disgusting. We were supposed to have a 2 queen bed room, and there was only 1 queen bed, and a headboard for the other and no bed. Furniture was ripped and stained, and there was mold in the coffee pot! Definitely DO NOT STAY HERE. Front desk told us that they will not be fixing anything due to trying to sell.”

”Cool funky vibe, roomy, nice amenities, walking distance to hiking trails (bring your bug spray and net this time of year) that go on for miles, slept to the sound of the elusive whip-poor-will call and woke up to the meep of the woodcock. My kind of place. Thanks Jason!”
