”I Liked: The proximity to the beach not just near Kalaloch Lodge but also the Ruby Beach which is a short drive north. I Did Not Like: - Dirty and Stinky! Very unpleasant, musty, dog smell (most possibly big dogs). It is the first we caught as we opened the door. Felt like the smell even attached to clothes. I get that the place welcomes pets. But management should have a way for housekeeping to do their job well to clean and refresh a room specially if guests specify we are checking in without...

”The stay was good, second floor room and no elevator - something ppl should keep in mind, but we were warned about it. All appliances were in good working order. Pleasant stay, good AC after a hot day in the mountains.”

”The property was very average. There was some updating such as the bedding but the room felt rather old and somewhat unclean. The desk top had dried spills on it, the coffee machine and ingredients had not been replenished and there was no lotion available or hair conditioner in the shower. . The bathroom sink faucet sputtered when turned on and sprayed out of the sink and on me. We were disappointed in the condition and cleanliness.”

”At the very least it should be clean. Booked this cabin because it had three beds, one of them being a pullout sofa. The mattress on the pullout sofa was so filthy, moldy, and full of dirt it could not be used. This meant that 2 guys over 6 ft tall had to share a full size bed. Would not recommend.”
