”I was traveling in Texas to go to my uncle's memorial and my aunt made my mom reservations at the same hotel I was staying at. That was okay, but my mother arrived at the hotel before me, made with completely different reservations under different names and upon her request, the receptionist changed my room to be on the same floor as hers WITHOUT calling me to ask me if that was okay or if I even knew the person making the request. Now it happened to actually be my mother so it's not the end of...

”I did one overnight stay with my boyfriend and one year old. Unfortunately the pool was out of service, but the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. We drove in to Columbus, which was 10 minutes down I 10 towards Houston to go to a steakhouse and popped into their Hound song brewery for an appetizer and beer. Very easy location to access off of the interstate and close to gas stations, fast food, and Dollar General.”

”Such a cute cabin located blocks away from Splashway! My family enjoyed the games and amenities. Host thought of everything you would need. Upstairs gets a little hot during the summer months, but wasn’t unbearable for our children. Overall, a great experience!”

”This is a beautiful and unique property. Overall we enjoyed our time with family (10 adults, 12 kids under age 11). The pool is not heated, so swimming in May was a bit chilly. The bathroom arrangement is unique with one room that has three toilet closets and a separate room just down the hall with three dorm style showers. The landscape is breathtaking with plenty of room to spread out, and we were able to spot several alligators nearby.”

”This is a great place to get away from it all and relax. We stayed in a converted farmhouse that was very clean and comfortable. The view of the country is excellent. The hostess is congenial and accommodating. We are going back in November for another stay. ”
