”Balcony and the lakeview were gorgeous. The lounge was clean and some cats can be seen. one peacock was keep as a pet in the front of the lounge. Pool was not accessible due to green algae I believed. No deers show up in the morning. No attraction for guests at all if you did not used the outdoor grill oven for barbecue. Overall, not much to do with young kid. No hair drier in the room, there were very dirty forks and spoon in the dishwasher (we help cleaned the spoon with huge cheese leftover)”

”This place is a gem! We live 45 minutes away, and we were celebrating my husband and daughter’s birthday…..this place is precious! The staff was amazing, the venue was adorable and the food/drinks were great. We will definitely be back!”

”Really enjoyed our stay at The Claire Hotel. Check in and out was a breeze. The property was well maintained, the cabin was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and it was an excellent location. They had nice amenities as well. A pool, fire-pit, horseshoes, bean bag toss, a basketball goal, and a cute playground. All the cabins were close and the walk to amenities were close. The staff were super helpful and nice. I would stay here again, and highly recommend this place.”

”Easy to find and get to. Amber was wonderful front desk person, Room was clean and well maintained. So many relaxing areas with chairs and end tables, picnic tables throughout property. Outdoor games to play. Peaceful surroundings, 2 docks for river swimming access. Nice outdoor pool and hot tub, very clean. Close to everything New Braunfels has to offer. We will certainly return!!!!!!”

”Ohhhhh how I loved this place !! I did not want to leave but Monday duty calls 😅. Spent Friday to Sunday at this beautiful lodge. The staff was super friendly, the people were super friendly and there is in-fact a pump to add air to your tubes ! It was quiet and right on the water. 10/10 and definitely recommend!”

”This hotel accomplishes the feat of somehow not looking that old and being in absolutely disgraceful state at the same time. The only part of the building that still looks good is the outside. Once you enter, everything is dirty. The lobby, the hall ways, the elevators, and most inconvenient of all, the room was filthy. The whole place smells like there’s a sewer leak. Worn out furniture in the room. Everything is sticky, in the entire building, like nothing has even been cleaned for however...

”Clean room that accommodates a large family and a price balcony in the room we stayed in. Staff was helpful when I had questions via text and call, also the complimentary tube transportation was nice, we ended up right back at the cabins. Second time staying and will stay again next visit!”

”The room was clean and well stocked, however the shower drain was clogged, however the refrigerator they advertised took the entire night to get anything cool,they advertised breakfast but there was none offered just dry cereal containers with old looking cereal.”
