”The elevator went out and we had to wait an hour before she would reassign our room to a lower floor. She finally gave us a room on the 1st floor because I couldn’t climb the stairs. My 72 year old sister with a pacemaker had to climb 3 flights of stairs to retrieve our bags because there was only one staff person on duty and she couldn’t leave the desk.”

”The rooms are clean and spacious with interesting decor. The location is close enough to casino to be convenient, and barbecue restaurants are super close by. The only problem we had was that our non-smoking room smelled like smoke. I have a feeling that's lingering from days gone by and hard to fix, but it was noticeable. Also, people should know that coffee maker is included, but no cream or sugar, so bring your own. AND bring your own hairdryer.”

”Staff at reception wasn't as welcoming as almost everywhere else, not rude but got the vibe of "what are you doing in here". Also gave us the room from the furthest corner of the building, felt like there was something personal although wouldn't know why. But otherwise everything was ok, nice and clean room but a bit outdated. Pool was nice.”

”The clean comforter had blood stains. Little critters were coming in underneath the door. The bath tub had a crack in it. If you steppe d on it. It would open up. Ice machine wasn't working. It looked 100 years old.”

”Staff did not accommodate me and my guest after us paying for the room. They wanted additional $199 to stay. So I went to another hotel a whole lot cheaper. So the lady did not help us out at all. I had the receipt of payment $103 so this is a Loss to me. I come to Gainesville a lot and stay one to two nights. ”I had a late check-in and I felt like the front desk girl was literally waiting for me and I was so grateful! The room was large and well appointed and sparkling clean! Breakfast was hot (or cold as needed) and it was all clean and inviting! Thank you for a lovely stay! Highly recommend!!”
