”Quaint old lodge . Single level , large rooms, very clean. 2 chairs plus a comfortable rocker, even has USB ports to charge your phone. You get a code to open your door when you reserve. Only downside our room had tub with shower but no faucet to fill the tub - had to use the shower to fill it.”

”We chose this property for its proximity to Great Sand Dunes National Park, relying on the Expedia listing that promised A/C and a washer/dryer. Unfortunately, the house was very hot upon arrival, and the washer was broken. We had two main issues: Broken Washer: The washer was the primary reason we rented a house instead of a hotel. The owner later revealed a previous guest broke it, and they were unable to fix it. However, they failed to warn us in advance so we could make other laundry...

”Truly a spectacular experience! If you are looking for a peaceful mountain retreat, this is perfect! Alexa has thought of everything a guest would need or want! The kitchen was well-appointed and the bright beautiful living space with incredible picture windows made you feel like you were with the wildlife you have the joy of viewing. Modern amenities in a serene setting made this the getaway we were hoping to enjoy. The Great Sand Dunes weren't too far away. However, we didn't want to...

”Sue was wonderful! She was responsive with our questions. The place was perfect. The view is breathtaking. It was 36 minutes from the Great Sand Dunes National Park. 10/10!”

”The property is beautiful, secluded but close enough to services to easily access stores and food. We loved the view of the stars at night. The house is off-the-grid, but isn't lacking in modern comforts. We did have to go through unpaved roads to reach the property, but it wasn't too bad once we found a good path to get there! The bed was amazing, and everything was spotless. She put extra care into the amenities and ensured we had everything we needed, and thoughtfully left disposable...

”Cozy beautiful home, great hosts”

”The Hummingbird Hideaway was very comfortable for a big group of people. We were there during high winds which was a bummer but the spacious house made us feel that we were not confined. The owners were very good about getting back to us when we had questions. We had a wonderful time.”

”We have stayed at this terrific cabin multiple times and have never been disappointed. The owners have provided a very comfortable place to spend a vacation. The cabin is in a gated mountain community and provides a great experience. We saw elk again and other wildlife. We experienced cooler weather and overall had a great stay. We highly recommend this cabin.”

”My wife and I grew up in the Valley, her on Blanca and myself in Alamosa wwe do this every year to stay close to family so the property was a good place for all, beautiful! The grills outside neither was even clean enough to use.So our cooking was done inside on more dirty cooking surfaces, The range had so much grease under griddle, we worried about a fire because we brought kabobs to cook outside but couldn't. Did I mention the range hood lights didn't work! My wife checked the silverware and...

”Very quiet and secluded setting. ”

”Amazing. Even though we weren't in the house most of the time, out exploring the town and Sand dunes, it has a amazing view of the mountains and the sky at night.”

”Our experience was terrible because we rented this property and when we got to the place at night with no WiFi signal, the property was occupied. We had to find a last minute hotel. ”

”This place was perfect for the 7 of us...all adults! The house care taker was very informative and super nice! The house had everything we needed plus some! The dogs, cows and donkey was a plus! The views were breathtaking! We would definitely recommend staying here”
