”Great property”

”When we arrived for check in the front desk clerk ignored us for about a minute. She seemed busy on her computer but did not acknowledge us at all. Even after she started to check us in she was not overly friendly. The hot tub was vile. The room was clean and the muffins at breakfast were really nice and fresh. The lady stocking the breakfast room was very friendly.”

”La chambre était très petite mais mignonne. Superbe vue. Le lit était un peu trop mou et le principal enjeu était la lumière (trop lumineux le matin avec les stores blancs). Aussi, on nous a proposé le petit-déjeûner à notre arrivée, mais sans nous mentionner qu'il n'était pas inclus dans le prix. On a donc été très surpris de se faire facturer 35$ plus taxes pour deux petites crêpes et un scone chacun, d'autant qu'on est végétariens et que rien n'a été proposé pour remplacer la viande. Beaucoup...

”The home is lovely and well appointed. Some of our guests would have liked drapes as the morning sun is bright.As we were there in the winter it would have been nice if the heat had been turned on prior to our arrival. And this would have made the homeowner aware of the heat not working in the lower wing. We tried without success.There was no dry wood available for the fireplace which would have been nice to have readily available.We also had a windstorm which pointed out that the French doors...

”Such a lovely place to stay! Anna is a wonderful host, a lot of care and thought has gone into this beautiful old home, gardens and guest rooms. The view from our room out to the Bay was simply beautiful. We highly recommend staying here and taking a sea kayak tour as well! A perfect stay and day of adventure!”

”We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage. It was even prettier than the pictures. Advocate Harbour is a beautiful and interesting little town and the drive from Parrsboro tp Advpcate Harbour, while a bit more rugged than we anticipated, is stunningly beautiful with unbelievable scenery. There are lots of parks nearby and lots of interesting beaches. The cottage itself is very comfortable and clean with everything you need to cookyour own meals. I was grateful that there was a cozy dining room...

”The pictures of the property that were on the website were not accurate, they actually were pics from another property nearby! Very disappointing!”

”The hot tub was good , water was a little foggy but still acceptable. Kitchen had most requirements except for BBQ flipper and functional can opener. More kindling to start fire would be better. ”

”Deck needs to be replaced, very dangerous for older people. The check in was bizarre, met with owner's sister who in great detail explained what should be explained a manual. When you arrive at your vacation location the last thing you want to do is spend 20 minutes going over these things. The location was fabulous but the site is quite musty smelling, furniture and deck should be replaced before it is available for rent again.”
