”I’m very disappointed because this property is simply not accurately advertised. The accommodation itself is nice, but several of the facilities that influenced my decision to book DO NOT EXIST as advertised.
Expedia clearly lists a restaurant, bar/lounge and full-service spa, including massage, and shows spa/sauna facilities. In reality, there is NO restaurant, NO bar and NO full-service spa. Breakfast can be pre-ordered and delivered to your room, but that is not a restaurant. A minibar in...

”Lovely old country house in beautiful grounds . Paid extra for a lake view , but not much of it to see. Staff are lovely . Breakfast , plenty to choose from , toast and juice not topped up or asked if we needed anything else. Room was basic for amount paid. Walls needed cleaning / repainting. Bathroom , dust and spiders ,black mould in the shower, needs a deep clean. Bed was broken and didn’t fit together , and made a lot of noise when getting in and out. Clean bedding , and towels. No...
