”We booked a superior double room, which is in theaon building. It was very tatty and in need of painting and updating. Very dated with a lack of plugs near the bed, none near the dressing table to plug in the hairdryer. One usb port. Dirty window dressings. A really old, dirty and damaged devine base. Breakfast was ok at best, not much choice and the mini chocolate muffins were dry or stale. The coffee was absolutely dreadful. The hash browns were oily and also not crisp because they had sweated...

”Expedia listing did not say the room I booked was basically a basement prison cell without the benefit of a window. Horrible.
No one answers the phone at this property. When you call the number on Google you get charged, even if you hang up the moment you hear the voice saying you’ll be charged.
Car Park blocked by bad parker , despite telling the front desk, car did not move so I had to park off site.
Never stay at any hotel managed by this chain for the sketchy phone system alone. I have...

”Stunning location but Very Small old TV in the room, sadly no hot water at 6pm one evening… a hot bath intended after a long hike…sadly din’t happen.
Good food, good beer and friendly staff. Close to road so some road noise on a night and early morning.”
