”Chateau De Maraval was just the castle experience we wanted from the medieval region from France. We were on a girl's trip and were provided two rooms that were beautifully furnished and stocked up. All the interiors was tastefully done. Outside of the castle is medieval but the rooms were with modern amenities. It was like living the best of two worlds. The property is well maintained. The staff were very helpful and kind. We had an amazing time. We definitely would recommend this for families...

”I liked the location. However, for a two bedroom suite, we only got 3 small (1 tsp) packets of shower soap for our 3 night stay. They were not replenished the entire time. Also, there was no hand soap at the sinks in either of the bathrooms. To me, soap for the sinks and shower should be a basic that is always provided at a hotel.”

”I have rented a number of houses through VRBO. The Petite Maison is by far the best. It was in perfect condition when we arrived. Located in the beautiful village of Beynac -et-Cazenac on the Dordogne River it felt like we had gone back in time. A very friendly village, we felt welcome everywhere we went - restaurants, the Pharmacy, the local market. Plus, there are many wonderful day trips just short drives away. I hope to be back again one day.”

Alors j'ai essayé de communiquer par texte avec votre service à la clientèle mais c'est très frustrant de ne pas pouvoir parler avec quelqu'un. Finalement, le propriétaire a reservé une chambre avec une autre compagnie. Je ne jamais compris qui a été rn faute mais une hosd est sûre: ma chambre avait été reservé et payée depuis juin. Il faudra communiquer avec les clients si des problèmes...

”Large typically French property that can easily accommodate 8-10 people. Villa in beautiful surroundings with different areas in which to chill. Best booked if you don’t want to travel far, though driving was very easy and enjoyable on mainly quiet roads. Within easy reach of the larger villages. Down-sides: no facilities in the village so prepare by shopping before arriving, and the pool is not within the grounds but a 10-15 minutes walk away (I think the write-up is misleading). ”Der Besitzer des Hauses empfing uns sehr herzlich. Es gab eine schöne Überraschung für uns und die Betten waren schön gemacht. Die Unterkunft ist gut, könnte aber etwas besser gereinigt werden. Außerdem wurden sofort neue Sonnenliegen mit neuen Kissen gekauft, da diese nicht vorhanden waren und das Partyzelt für uns aufgebaut wurde.
