”Really friendly staff! Clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Appreciated real plates etc. Will stay again! ”

”Unique, clean and friendly motel. Love the drive right up to the front door for easy loading and unloading. This is our 2nd stay here and we will choose it again when traveling through the West Coast on I-5.”

”Do not stay here. The rooms are uncleaned. The floors are disgusting. The staff was rude. I was told the floors "can't be cleaned." Not worth the high price! Pictures online do not match actual interior.”

”Very odd experience. when I checked in, the girl was on her phone, talking to someone. She kept talking to them while collecting my information. After 5 minutes of "double tasking" she hung up the phone then proceeded to advertise and sell me one of her "paintings". I told her I was tired and needed to get to my room and she handed me her phone asking me to look at them while she made my room key!! Such an odd experience. The room was so dirty. If I wasn't so tired, I would have complained...

”I can't say enough good things about The Florentine Hotel. Everything from little things like slippers, chocolate and tp flower to the amenities; like kayaks, campfires (s'more kits) and a bed swing by the lake. The beds were soft and comfortable, room was spotlessly clean. Close to Florence, sand dunes and the Siltcoos canoe trail. Right by the lake, wonderful views and the owners were so nice and attentive.”

”Ok, so this stay was a mixed bag. The staff was great! The rooms.... meh. The carpet looked and "felt" dirty. The bedding cover had what looked to be a blood spot but the blanket and sheets were definitely fresh and clean as were the towels. They were mid renovations so maybe better in the future.”

”The staff was very nice and helpful. The door to the room was hard to close. The beds were not as comfortable as those at other hotels we have stayed in. The area for pets was unkempt, and it seemed that other guests did not pick up after their dogs. There was no waste can for after you picked up after your dog; we had to deposit poop bags in our hotel room garbage can.”

”The breakfast was the best part! Hot tub was dirty, pillows are awful, ice machine downstairs doesn't work. For the price, I expected better accommodations. I have stayed in a lot of the Premier Best Westerns, and this one is on the lower end for sure.”

”I would not consider this a "lodge" it more of a motor-inn motel with an indoor pool. it was completely serviceable, but a bit over priced for what it was. The door to our balcony could not be locked, but we were on the 3rd floor.”

”The place was terribly dirty. Unable to use the show due to sewer backing into the tub. Door locks were not operational. This was the case across all three rooms rented. Floors were filthy had to purchase socks because they were so filthy. There were two shotgun blasts to the ceiling. It was awful”

”WE ARRIVED AT THE LOCATION AND WAS A BIT WORRIED AT FIRST, OUR ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN, ALL OF THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND WE ENJOYED VISITNG WITH THEM DURING OUR STAY. WE WILL STAY HERE AGAIN. THE NEW MANAGEMENT IS WORKING VERY HARD TO UPGRADE EVERYTHING AND SEEM TO BE DOING A GOOD JOB.”

”I like that the Chevron is right next door and that it's cheap. I also didn't come home with bed bugs, so that's a plus. Nice and old school, I appreciate its existence.”
