”Right outside the Crocodile Bridge gate to Kruger, possible to view animals to come to drink at the river while in the pool! Hosts are very welcoming and knoeledgeable about the park. The tent is a nice experience. The place is great and I would love to go back.”

”Your response is unacceptable. The Royal Hotel was closed for refurbishment at the time of my booking — a fact that should have been known to Hotels.com before confirming any reservations. It is embarrassing that such a booking was confirmed in the first place, and the stress caused is entirely due to your company’s failure to ensure the property was operational. I will be taking this matter up with my travel insurance provider and expect Hotels.com to review its internal processes to prevent...

”Les logements sont très spacieux et idéalement situés avec plusieurs trails accessibles et une très belle vue.”

”Architecture and location are outstanding. Truly amazing. The Grotto suites are stunning. The views, to die for. The downsides are that the building is in need of a bit of maintenance with chipped and scratched plaster abounding. Our fridge was not clean but the linen was perfect. Lack of stair lighting to go to the main function areas is not great. Food in restaurants was good with large portions and welcoming, helpful staff. Highly recommend as a Kruger Park journey stop-over.”

”We saw a special that was advertised and after making the booking were told that the special was no longer on. For what we eventually paid, it was a rip off.! The first nights dinner was at the Boma. We asked for steak that was medium rare and received a well done steak after waiting at least 30 minutes for the dancing to finish. The steak was ordered before the dancing but not brought to the table.! The next nights dinner , we were given an Ala-Carte menu with prices.! We did not know if this...

”The lodge sucks, food is not good and bad quality with zero vegetarian options. Rooms are ok probably the only decent thing. Some staff are also friendly. Furniture around lodge needs upgrading. Everything falling apart. Especially around the pool area very dangerous chairs. The front desk isn't knowledgeable about safaris, which is hard to believe since that's all they do... all day every day. They can only offer Echo tours from lobby. But they do a terrible service. Sadly guests have no...

”Exceptional is an understatement! All around 5 stars in every category! Food, service, amenities, spa, and staff all were TOP NOTCH! Memorable on so many levels!”

”Our three-night stay at Kambaku River Lodge was nothing short of unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality from Garry that immediately set the tone for the entire experience. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, blending comfort with an authentic safari atmosphere. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered stunning views of Kruger National Park and the Crocodile River. We shared the outside space with a few nyalas who took...

”The property was really clean and had good amount of towel plates cutleey etc. the major issue we had was that the roof was leaking everywhere in most rooms. One of the beds was wet and we slept with water dripping next to us the enter night. When I raised it with the reception, there was no apology for the inconvenience but only stating that it was the thatched roof. If they know about the leaks, they should maintain the roof.”
